I bought Pure ASP Upload while George was on vacation and had given up on making it work. But then I rememberd how bad I need an upload page and how much I'd paid to do it. Here's the latest error I get:

Error Type:
Server.MapPath(), ASP 0174 (0x80004005)
An invalid '/' or '\' was found in the Path parameter for the MapPath method.
C:\INETPUB\WWWROOT\SCOUT\ADMIN\../../../../inetpub/wwwroot/ScriptLibrary/incPureUpload.asp, line 162

Browser Type:
Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0; .NET CLR 1.0.3705)

Page:
POST 135809 bytes to /scout/admin/insert.asp

POST Data:
error '80020009'
Exception occurred.

/iisHelp/common/500-100.asp, line 223
Does anyone know how to fix this? Is there any reason that the extension should have written this wrong?

Thanks for your help...

Why be difficult when you can be impossible?

Did you specify the upload folder in PureASPupload?

Thanks Martha, but that doesn't really help. I haven't gotten into the file delete behavior yet, and I definitely haven't specified any folders twice (like the page to go to after upload). As for crazy characters in the upload path, I haven't used any. I only specified at root relative path instead of the default file relative path because the default setting didn't work either. Would you have any further suggestions? I'm really getting disappointed here...

I had the same issue. I wanted to use a Vitual directory for my Uploads but I found when I use the site root it would not work. I put in the relative and it works fine now.<BLOCKQUOTE id=quote><font size=1 face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica" id=quote>quote:<hr height=1 noshade id=quote>
