asp links problems

i have a problem.. when i click a link that is redirected to an .asp file it shows me the download box to save or open it .... i want resolve that problem but i dont know how to do it ... can u help me ? im using iis 5.1tnx

Dear KanKava,
You need to have a server running that can parse the file first - if you are on Windows, setup PWS and place your files in the appropriate directory.

or your PWS/IIS is not pointing to your webfolder (innetpub/wwwroot/) or there is no webserver instaled.
On windows98/Me use PWS (is an extra on Win98SE). On WinXP home you´re in trouble because there is no web server available. On Win2000/WinXP PRO use IIS (on your XP CD).
