I have used Dreamweaver 4 for a few years and love it. I recently upgraded to Dreamweaver MX and I have one issue that hopefully someone can help with...
In Dreamweaver 4, while editing a page, you can view the code while you work, and change the code on the fly. In MX, I can't seem to do that. I can view the code, but it won't let me edit it.
Has anyone had this problem, or know the way I can fix this? This is my only complaint about MX so far, but it is crucial. I need to be able to do this, or I will have to go back to using Dreamweaver 4.
Any and all help is most appreciated. Thanks!

I have never seen that issue...

Have you clicked into the code area before you start trying to type?

Only reason I see for this to happen is if you use templates and you want to edit the GREY codes, grey means it is locked and falls outside your editable regions...If this is not the case then you could try updating to version 6.1 which solved this exact problem for a certain few.
