I have used Access in the past for my personal ASP site and have noticed considerable slow down. I would like to venture into SQL Server Database for more stability. I do not want to spend more than $500 for the software. Which version of SQL Server would allow me to create/edit the database. Is there another product that would be cheaper and do the same thing. Should I purchase the Developer or Personal edition? ThanksReplies

The Developer version is fully featured, but musn't be used on a server, so you can develop your database on your local workstation then import it into the SQL Server on the server at the web host.
