I have a window of internet explorer open (minimized, or maximized) or multiple windows. I am building a page in MX, save it and i click the preview in internet explorer button in MX. The problem is, the previewing window closes down the internet explorer window that was already open and instead opens up the previewing window. This is very annoying when having multiple internet explorer windows opened as i neveer know which one will still be open and closed - i pretty much can't use the preview method if any internet explorer windows are already open. Does anybody know how to disable or fix this ?I will be very grateful if you give me some instructions.
Right here

Dreamweaver seems to apply the preview to the last focused on open instance of explorer, for example if you have 3 seperate instances of explorer looking at different things, the last one you clicked on will be the browser window dreamweaver uses--- at least I think this is the case, based on my experience. One solution is to open another instance of explorer, make sure to click on that, then do your preview in browser.

DWMX seems picky about this, at work on NT4 workstation it ALWAYS opens in my last used browser window. And at home in win2k pro it ALWAYS opens a new browser, even when system memory is low. There's no option to control this <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle>

My suggestion would be to install, say, opera or netscape, then whilst using DW, surf the net with one of those and DW will just open an IE window when you preview and you will know where you are. Works for me.
