Hello people,

I am having he worst problem of my life at the moment <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>. After reformatting my HDD, I am able to make NO connection via my Local DNS to the web server.

I have definately set every thing up correctly, the DNS connections allow me to connect via other methods, but MX simply REFUSES to even try and attempt a connection. Every time I try to add a connection via the databases panel, I get an "Unspecified Error" warning. It does not matter whether I am online / offline, using broadband or dial up - I have reformatted twice and this problem will not go away. I have been using DW / UD for two years and this is the first time this has happened.

Now the reason this is causing me so much grief, I have two new projects starting Monday Morning - a shopping site and a lawyers form system - and I cant do the work with this damn problem.

Has anyone ever experienced this? Anyone know the fix <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle> ???
