I have a few questions that I hope some of you can help me with.
*Please note that I am a beginner. I am using WinXP IIS, DMX, MSAccess, .asp.

Databases

Problem:
I am creating a database driven website for my company. Ultimately I want employees to log-in and view/edit only what they are allowed to see and have access to the office documents. The office documents for example are Transmittals, Fax Transmittals. etc. that we have taken from MS Word and created .asp pages so that users can fill out a form, send or print it, and have the information stored in a database so it can be pulled up on a search in the future if needed. Right now I have a database called "documents", within this database I have tables "fax" (for fax info) & "transmittal" (for transmittal info). I am new to database driven sites and just as new with databases. Would it be wise to create seperate databases for each category? for example a "fax.mdb" file just for faxes. I just wanted to get a clear idea of how I should organize my data. Should I just have one database with different tables that hold different types information? I am just not sure if I should keep secure data in the same database as the public data.

If you have or know of a similar database setup can you please, if possible send me a file or a list of the fields that you are using within the database so I can get an idea.

DreamweaverMX:
Is it possible in DMX to create a timesheet where an employee can access his/her timesheet, add/remove/edit their hours worked on per project and have it all calculated to figure how many hours they have worked per project, per day, etc... and have it all stored in a database. Is it something that Dreamweaver is capable of doing? and what should I use...php, asp, cgi, etc? please help!

Can anyone point me to a site that has tutorials on how to: (preferably ones that you have used or highly recommend)

Create a Login where a user gets directed to see his/her personal page. I have found user login tutorials but its just login's that go to the same page for all users?

Create a poll? (like DMXZone)

User Stats?

I know its alot and I thank you for reading and any help you can give.

Thanks in advance!
Rob

EDIT: I found a poll tutorial on this site....thanks!
