just recently downloaded the updater but am a getting strange error when trying to install it.

the setup program gets to the screen to choose the install path, when i select the default path; "C:\Program Files\Macromedia\Dreamweaver MX"

it errors with, " This folder does not contain Dreamweaver MX"

i have indeed verified that is where i installed DWMX. several times. in fact, i un-installed and re-installed DW. still no luck.

any help? re-install Windows? btw, i'm using W2k.

Are you logged on with administer rights?

it won't work on pirated copies

ok that was weird, un-installed DW, turned EVERYTHING off, web server, firewall, anti-virus, etc.

re-installed DW and applied the update. worked.
