I need to create a recordset that returns the results in postcode order, nearest match to furthest match.

The recorset is called RS_Pcode
table property
filed pcode

I have an asp/vbscript manual somewhere that covers this but I cannot find it. Drrrrr.

Are you talking about the closest match in text sort order or geographical sort order?

Closesgeagraphical would be wonderful but probable incredibly difficult.

Closest match based on the inputted text will do fine. Favouring the 1st character then second character ect for obviuos reasons.
