I know this is a common error but I've tried everything I could dig up to try and fix this. One thing I'm curious about is the path given in the error. 'dev/' is where the script is located and ../images/products/.. is where I'd like to upload the file. Is this correct? Permissions are set correctly and this works on our local server but not on the production server.

An error has occured saving uploaded file!

Filename: /dev/../images/products/piston.jpg
Maybe the destination directory does not exist, or you don't have write permission.
Please correct and try again

Thanks for the replies. In the end it seems to have been a permissions issue. I had them check three times before I posted here... oh well. Thanks again for taking the time to reply.
