I am creating a site for a client of mine - and I am new to the whole dynamic/asp thing... so I am going to feel really dumb if this is an easy question....

I have created a page using PureUpload to allow my client's clients' to upload new file to there site (he is a printer) - but now he wants to make each of his clients log in - which I understand how to do - and after they log in they will be presented with a list of the files they have uploaded and proofing files my client has put on the server...

So here is the question - using access as the database - is there a way to tag the uploads the client uploaded and then only display thoses when they log in? Or if I create multiple directories - is there away once they are logged in to the site to display only the context up there respective directory?

Thank you

Tom

Both scenarios are possible. Several questions...

Which, if any, scenario do you prefer?

What is the server environment like (OS, Version, Web Server Software, etc)?

How much control do you have over the server?

Actually since I forsee more of this stuff in the future - I kind of would like to do the one that is the most replecialble.

As for the server I own it - its hosted in a datacenter - it has W2K on it running IIS...

What logon method are you using [NT Security or an ASP/DB solution]?
