Charon Cart Problem

I cannot get the OrderID from the Orders table to display in the OrderID column in the OrderDetails table.How do I make them synchronise so that my Orders match up with my OrderDetails?
The tutorial on the site here does not help with this. I have re done it hundreds of times now to no avail. I think its something to do with my Save To cart configuration but it wont work!
Pleasehelp!!

If you followed the tutorial exactly and you're getting this problem, it sounds like you either have cookies and/or session variables disabled in your browser. Check your browser security settings (in IE, resetting everything to 'default' should do it).
The charon cart only worked for me once I created every page from scratch following the tutorial. I had first tried to 'wing it', skipping ahead based on how I thought it should work.
