AOW 3 - auto close window

HiI'm new to web design and am seriously considering purchasing the Advanced Open Window 3 extension. My question is will this extension give me the ability to have the pop up window close automatically when the user clicks back on to the main page or rather when the pop up window is no longer the active window.
