I am looking to set up a forum for my new website.The thing is i do not know were to start i have set up for a lycos webspace as people are useing them to have there forums on.
I am wanting to try and programe it my self so i have got a bit of hands on experiance for it so can someone do me a stap by step or something like that for me which os simple to follow. if i do have any truble with setting up would someone set one up for me please

Its not a freebie but free software under the GPL licence. Its an important distinction just free software = free speach not free beer.

Well then. i downloaded it and put it on my site to setup got past the 1st instaltion .
I then went to enter my admin password and username and nothing happend. i have had loads of help but noone could do it for me.
i usedthe free lycos webservice for it.

If any body would like to set it up for me andthen give me the passwords and username. so that i can then setit up how i want it to be done. please put the username to ADMIN and u chose the password

I didn't have any probs like that, but if you let me know the url of the forum I would be glad to help, dont know if letting other people access your usernames / passwords at any time is a good idea though!!!!!
