I've got some drop downs menus that i'm pretty fond of(made with project vii's great extensions.) The problem is that they will overlap a flash movie. No help so far searching forums. Is it posssible to put the flash movie on a layer and set the z value so it's behind my menus when they pop up--or is this asking for hellish zero compatibility with any browser except IE 6.9.789.3¼452.1µ ? Any suggestions (aside from just building the whole thing in flash) Replies

The only way around this that I've ever found was to put the Flash in a constrained layer, then hide that layer when the offending form objects get focus. I'd like a better solution, too, but that's the only one I've found.

Thanks for the reply. I've seen that work around as well. I could just re-design the pages, but you know how it goes once you get a problem in your head. If I can find another solution I'll definitely post it here. This seems like a common question (I've searched six other forum sites as well as this one) but no solutions yet. Thanks again!
