I have created page in FWMX. This page contains a drop down menu set up in FWMX. I have exported the file to DWMX as a .html document. Two days later I want to go back and edit, add or delete info in the drop down menu of FWMX. Is there a way to Update the FWmx file back into the DWMX.html without having to rebuild the html text I have added to the DWMX document each time?

Yes there is. Open Dreamweaver MX right click an image (within the htm file created by fireworks ) and select edit with Fireworks. This will open the png file you created in fireworks, make the necessary changes. You will see up the top of the file Editing from dreamweaver click the button done when your finished and your page or pages will be updated. As long as all other htm files are based on a this.

Hope this helps.

This is called roundtrip editing, it works with most Macromedia products.
Instead of rightclicking the image, try selecting the image and click EDIT from the property inspector.

This feature is fun when you incorporate Flash movies, you can play the movie from inside the Dreamweaver environment and also click edit to jump straight to flash editing mode. For this feature to work best you should put your original PNG and FLA files in a safe place, although MX can create new PNG's on the fly it's best to save the original for future editing.

To learn more about roundtrip editing and how to make efficient use of this feature consult any of the following documents that you think could help you further:
search.atomz.com/search/?sp-a=sp1001395b&sp-p=any&sp-q=roundtrip%20editing

If you use this feature alot then it is important to know that you can add your own editors by going to Edit -> Preferences, and select the tab "File Types / Editors".
