Hello I'm back again with another probably stupid question. Can anyone tell me how I can make sure that visitors on my website have to fill all the textfileds in a form I put in? And how I can let the page check that with the email textfield there is really a emailaddress given?

Actually, the check form behavior is built into DMX (but the one from Yaromat is much better). For simple text fields and email address syntax validation, the stock one works fine.

But how do I apply it? where do I fiind it?? Probably a very stupid question but I have looked everywhere and I can't find it!!! I have installed the 'check form' extension by Jaro von Flocken but where do I find it and how do I apply it?

Just for future info, when you add an Extension, the extension manager tells you where you can locate it. Just click the extension name and look at the description in the text block at the bottom of the dialogue.

Well I finally found it but now I have anither problem. The behaviour is on the form now but is there anyway I can prevent someone from submitting an empty form? Because he gives an error about the fields who are not filled in correctly but I can still submit the form to the database

Apply the behavior to the FORM, not to the button.
