PureASP Upload Error
17 Sep 2002 12:09:23 Hack Reb posted:
Well hi there. Since I´m german i hope that you can still understand what I´m asking. I purchased PureASPUpload and it works pretty properly. But if i use a "update" server behaviour in my form tag and the PureAspUpload Behaviour (since I´d like to upload the file and insert the filename in my database) I can´t save the document without getting following error message:"Making this change would require changing code that is locked by a template or a translator. The change will be discarded "

I posted this originally on Macromedia's discussion site. It applies here as well.
BTW, I don't know the answer to your question. Sorry.

Couple things, bro:
1.) If you post this on the PureASP Upload Problem forum, I am sure you would get a quicker response.
2.) Sounds to me like maybe you need to give Write permissions for whatever your upload folder is... or that PurASP Upload is trying to write its Javascript into the head of the page but you have that area locked down through the template.
I would suggest either unlocking that area, or simply grab the JavaScript code and stick it into an include.
Hope this helps...

Hey Jeremy... where in the menus do you "unlock" it? Im' tring to add content to my page (my webmaster no longer maintains my site) and when I change some text and save it I get a dialog saying that it's locked and going to disregard the process or whatever....
