I am beginning to lose it! No doubt about it!

I installed Phakt2 onto my XP/PHP/MySQL/DWMX environment and 'presto!' all my connections began to fail. The ADODB extension doesn't work properly according to some error messages. Connections can be made periodically, only to find that when you reuse them the **** NO TABLE ***** message appears in the Recordset dialogue box.

I have had errors reading back the available databases, errors after I have successfully set up a Recordset, (it happens sometimes, usually after I have rebuilt the site!). I have also had the HTTP 500 error.

Judging by the entries on the Macromedia site this is a known problem. I have tried the workarounds I have been able to find - without a comprehensive success, I have listed a query on the Phakt site, and here I am again hoping like crazy that someone out there has a resolution to this immensely frustrating situation.

Help, please, beg, grovel?
