Hi all,

Im trying to upload my ASP site to the remote server (ISP)

AT the ISP am I told that all connections shall be made DSN less.

During edit sites doesnt i get any failures.

All problems starts when trying to editing the database connections. - following error

HTTP Error Code 404 File Not Found. Here are some possible reasons for the
problem:


1) There is no testing server running on the server machine.
2) The testing server specified for this site does not map to the [my host
directory here]/_mmServerScripts/MMHTTPDB.asp URL. Verify that the URL
Prefix maps to the roof of the site.

What is the problem ?

I had to modify my testing server to point to the IP of my machine instead of the windows name (192.168.2.99 instead of localhost). I had the same problem as you and this resolved it.
