ASP Server Error in Live data preview

I have connected an access database to my site using asp.All the normal pages are ok except the ones connected to the database.I receive and asp error 80004005 "Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005' Couldn't use (unknown)'; fole already in use. I've checked the permissions but the problem remains.Any idea? Replies

First make sure that the database is actually not opened. You can tell if a database is open if there is a .ldb file next to the .mdb file. If the DB is closed out and the .ldb file is still there, you should probably try to delete the .ldb file. If you still get a message that says that the file is in use, then check your database connection string.

Im having the same problem and to say the least its doing my head in!!!!!!
Did you find a solution?
The database does sometimes leave an lbd open, but even when i delete this the Test Server won't work. I have also checked my connection string over and over....
