I'm just beginning to learn the basics of coldfusion dynamic pages. My hosting company has set up a DSN to my database for me, but Dreamweaver MX (and UltraDev) requires access to Remote Development Services to connect to the DSN. As a customer, I don't have access to the RDS. Any way around this...maybe a way to connect to the database without a DSN? Since my host already supports cold fusion, i'd like to use their servers instead of putting iis on my machine.
