Hi all,Could anyone explain the difference between alpha transparency and index transparency? Or point me to some site/learning resources about these terms?

hi fendi,
the aplpha transparency affects how all objects interact with the color of the canvas. If you choose A.T. in the optimize panel and then have a look at the preview, you'lll see, that the canvas color will appear transparent, and all objects will remain the same.
If a web page uses a specific color for its background, you can apply index transparency to blend in objects with the background color of the web page.
You can again look in the preview to see the effect. Maybee just create an object with the same color as the canvas, then you can see the difference.
