Use the show region server behavior.

type in.

ARE YOU STUPID?! I CANT FIND ANYTHING YOU WANTED IN YOUR SEARCH!

highlite it

goto SERVER BEHAVIORS, click + and goto SHOW REGION and select IF RECORDSET IS EMPTY, then select the recorset you were referencing.

This will now be shown if that recordset is empty.

Of course, you can change your message to be more polite; but it's a nice ice breaker to the customer!

wow talk about fast. cheers for the answer that did the trick. I really should play with dmx a little more to see what everything does.
Also I notice from your sig. that you are using IIS 5.1 and WinXP do you have any problems running php pages as I cant seem to. is there an IIS site with plugins etc.

I've not yet delved into PHP, as that I myself am currently learning ASP inside and out (and then taking on ASP.NET afterwards)

My biggest beef from everything I own is the OS. WinXP Pro is to me, the most unstable of Operating Systems. Everyday, I'm literally scared and wondering how the OS will fail me. LOL Go Microsoft.
