help!!!! pop-up menus and frames in dw mx???

am working with fireworks mx pop-up menus implemented in dreamweaver, but have trouble making the pop-up menus appear in another frame. the tech-note about this problem for fireworks 4 doesn't solve the problem with mx. whatever i do the menu just won't appear. i would really appreciate any suggestions!!!!
