The situation is this:

I have an ASP page to send mail using CDONTS.NewMail and all of the tests I've been able to do on servers available to me have been successful. It's my understanding that this will/should work on any server running IS.

I'm dealing with a server administrator though that can't figure out how to give me direct ftp access and can't get the mail to send when he uploads the file on their server, which is an NT 4.0 server running IS. I've had him change the permissions of the directory to execute and still no luck. He's clueless and I'm stuck trying to figure this out for him in order to deliver what was promised to the client.

Does anyone have any thoughts as to where a problem could be stemming from? I'll accept any shots in the dark, maybe's, whatever you've got.<font face='Arial'></font id='Arial'><font size=1></font id=size1><font size=2></font id=size2>

Yes it will run on any server running IIS 4.0 and above.
