Hi,I've read this problem in some forms, but there was never given answer to them
When I am trying to connect a MySql database with dreamweaver MX.
Connection a database I get error messages like
1)'cannot put MMHTTPDB.PHP'
2) 'cannot put mysql.php
3) sometimes even 504 method not allowed
I've read the technote of micromedia on this at:
www.macromedia.com/support/dreamweaver/releasenotes/mx/releasenotes_mx.html#php
but that wasnt conclusive.
Now the strange part,
Bypassing al these error I've managed to get a connectionfile, showing tables in the bindingstab.
Somehow I can only create manual(advanced mode) queries. In simple mode no columns are shown.
Anyone an idea about this?
cheers

It seems as if you do not have write permission on your server - If can not put (copy) files to your server.

Writing permission should be alright (running win98, php4.2).
I just don't understand.
Especially: I can type manual queries that work, but using the simple mode no columsn show up.
Can it be a configuration within php that has to be adjusted?
