Can anyone recommend a cart that is free or cheap that works with DW? I'd like it to be PlugNPay friendly since that is the merchant/gateway I plan on using. I'm a newb so the easier it is, the better <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle> Thanks for reading & for your input.

I tried this and it completely screwed everything up, but maybe it was down to my non-cart knowledge <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle>

Thanks for the input! I'll look into it & see if I can figure it out. In the meantime, I got a ASP book in hope that it will help me use UltraDev better. Programming seems so daunting. Every book I pick up about SQL or ASP or what ever has so many other things you really should know it's hard to start anywhere. Like this ASP book says I should know HTML (I know the basics) & VBScripting. The book does go over the basics of VBS though so I am hoping I can get a good grasp of this. Again, thanks for your kind replies, and I welcome any other suggestions this community can offer! <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle> cheers!

A large problem now a days is that people who are fledgling webmasters want to build in=depth applications right off the bat. And it's just SO much harder to do things that way. As for ASP, I find that you don't need to know any VBScript if the book is written well. By the end of a good ASP book, you can right down "Proficient in ASP and VBScript"

Right now I do well with : HTML, DHTML, JS, JScript, CSS1 and CSS2. I'm teaching myself both ASP (VBScript) and SQL. I've found the hard way that the job market doesn't really care if you can do web design well; til the market gets back to flourishing, web DEV is where the jobs are at (not to say that web design is not vital to a great site), but it's forced me so that I have to take on programming as well.

Luckily enough, I find both ASP and SQL VERY interesting and once I get both under my belt I can hopefully find a good web developer position for $60+k a year.
