To Tim,

I'd just like to tag on to this since enquest asked if you'll be making your shopping cart for DMX_php or Phakt 2.

Just curious if you're still determined to work solely on projects/extensions for DMX_php or if you'll be making versions available for Phakt 2 users? Unfortunately it's time for me to make a choice as to what server model I'm going to use, and I think I'm gonna have to go with Phakt 2. Simply because it will be quite some time before DMX_php catches up in standard features.

I'd like to use your next version of PHP_Upload, here's hopin' it's Phakt 2 compatible <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>

First of all the book can be purchased from anywhere it is available, and I will benefit equally, as I earn royalties which are paid directly by the publisher.

As far as IntelliCART is concerned, I am currently working on IntelliCART MX, which will mark an evolution in IntelliCART's design and functionality. I can't give any details at the moment, but there are some real surprises in store!

IntelliCART MX will be available for the PHP/MySQL Server Model.

Pete, I have canvassed opinion about whether or not to support PHAkT 2, especially with IntelliCART, and by far the overwhelming majority of users seem to support the native PHP Server Model, so that is what I will be supporting.

If public opinion changes, then so might mine, but to be honest PHAkT 2 support is still not an attractive proposition. Had I already ported IntelliCART for the PHAkT 2 versions that have thus far been released, I would now be on my third (or even fourth) re-release to compensate for changes.
