i am trying to figure out which CMS to use or whether i should try to build the functions i want into my own html site.

i used to use phpnuke with a phpbb forum and understand someone has integrated the forum as a module now
so i am considering that.

but most of my visitors found the pages very slow loading.

i don't really need anything that big.

i like the browser based article submission with chron to send the new articles up automatically first thing in the morning.

i would like it to work with regular html templates.

it has to be PHP.

any ideas ? i have been through a lot of stuff on hotscripts an stil haven't found exactly what i'm looking for.

i'm a drag and drop kind of guy.

i do have both a designer and a coder i can call on a little to implement this but i'd really rather not if that's possible.

yes, i want it simple fast and free.
what else is new.
