Hello! Have a vbscript on a page that is timing out now.

Would like to increase or bypass the default server script run time setting but not sure which server variable to use here.

Will the server variable need to be added to the page where the script is now to increase the time a few minutes. Currently trying to send out a Jmail e-mail to the 50 to 100 users on the developed web site but it is not getting to all the users as the time out happens.

Would appreciate any recommendations or help. Thanks!

You can either use Server.ScriptTimeout or if you have access to the IIS admin panel, you just rightclick on the server folder, properties, and on the website directory tab, change the Script Timeout (seconds)

Hey! The ScriptTimeOut property worked fine and the script on the page runs to completion now.

Changed the number of seconds up to 900 and that worked. Not a server administrator so put the statement on the page. Thanks!
