I tried to find an upgrade path for Studio MX. I allready own DW4/UD4/FW4-Studio. I also purchased Flash MX, right when it hit the streets.

On macromedia.com I learned I can upgrade to Studio MX for $399,-.

However, down the same page is the option to upgrade from Flash MX, for only $299,-. Great. Suitable for me. But then: U.S. & Canada customers only (!).

Why is this? Can't the rest of the world upgrade from Flash MX? Or does this line only refer to the telephone numbers mentioned? (www.macromedia.com/software/studio/productinfo/upgrade/).

How did you upgrade? What did it cost? Any advice would be highly appreciated.
