I'm using Dreamweaver MX, and this is the first time that I've actually
designed a site in table layout. My page consists of a top row banner,
another row for the navigation bar, and then I have one more row with two
columns, the left for the navigation and link section, the right for the
content. Pretty simple, right? Well, on the right column, everything is
automatically placed in the middle. It's not centered, but the content that
I start to add adds itself to the middle of the cell (vertically), rather
than the top. This sounds like a common problem, but I'm not sure how to
investigate it using the help files. If needed, I can attatch a copy of the
page so you can better see what I mean. I am sort of new to Dreamweaver (but
I do understand HTML), so I'm sorry for being such a newbie.

I've never used Dreamweaver MX, and im sure this shoulf been posted in the macromedia mx section, but you should be able to set the valign=top

Try clicking in the middle of the cell and look for Vert Default and change Default to Top

(unless MX is totally different that should work)
