OK, I feel pretty stupid right now...

I just can't figure out how to make a DB in with MS SQL.

I downloaded the SQLEVAL form the microsoft website, but i am trying to find the program to make the acctual database. Like Acces... Is it included in the SQL EVAL edition or do i need to download something else??

Any clues are appreciated

You're going to need some kind of interface tool like MySQLFront (for MySQL). I'm not very good with MS products, but i'm sure there is a GUI somewhere out there to interact with MSQL.

At the moment it will simply reside a service, although there might be a console somewhere where you can use command-based SQL to handle data structures.

I figured some stuff out already, I know now how to make an database now finally... I noticed also, that it si gonna be more difficult then a simple Acces DB <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>

I was gonna say. All you need is the SEM. I just got my SQLServer up and going and my god is it picky! After problems of installing that were due to me not being the box admin (until I logged in as it), I now have it up and going, SP4'd and a DB up and ready for data imports.

Only prob now is that I have to setup a freakin trusted connection! Yarg...... Ah well.

ok i'am a newbie in SQL.... Whats the SEM??
