hello all,

whats the best way to send out dynamic html emails. for instance to send someone a copy of their details after signing up for something.

I tried creating html emails and adding recordsets but it only sent the code for the recordset not the data from within it.

I saw the php mail suite but want a bit more control than that.

thanks

shan

I have a little mailing list system that might do what you want. I wrote it myself and is still in beta but I haven't found any bugs in ages. Working fine and passed out to others who wanted it. It runs with CDONTS, ASP, VBScript and an Access Database. I wrote this myself so no need to worry about copyright/license. You can use it.

<b>Shan</b> - It can send out dynamic html emails, and also sends them their information on signup for them to confirm signup. You should get what you are looking for from it if you disect the code.

<b>Davecl</b> - I have the script for sending in ASPMail, ASPEMail, CDONTS, Dundas Mailer and JMail... so if you want any of these, give me a shout.

If you want a copy of the zip file with everything in it... just email me and I will send it over. If you have any questions, just shout. Working example of the mailing list on our web site. Cheers lads.
