upload extension

I Just download an upload extention and it works in my local server. But it is not work in the remote server. I want to know that is it work after i buy it?

The problem is probably that the upload script you have requires a DLL to work on the server. If it is not on the server and you dont have rights to change the server settings (i.e. upload a dll) then you wont get it to work...

The only option is to buy something like Pure ASP Upload that does not require a dll.....that works fine....

The upload extension i download is Pure ASP Upload from this site. Maybe it is the beta version.

I had problems to start with so I just made a simple test form with only a file field. Once I got that to work I added around it.

I make it work now. It is because of the right of the folder.
Another problem is : The upload can not rewrite the file if it is existed in the upload folder.What is your suggestion on it. Thank you very much.

If you buy the new full version of Pure ASP Upload 2.09 then it has the ability to rename the file if there is an identical file, or to rename the file to your choosing - along with a ton of other cool stuff.
