I am working on Ultra Dev 4 mac Training from the source book., lesson 4. I am lost on how to set up the Application Server dialog box. The server that I am uploading to is Windows server using ASP.

I got my ftp stuff right for the remote server . But I'm lost as far as the DSN connection. I just joined this site that has a control panel, in the panel is DNS manager.

Because I am on a mac I am limited on what I can and cannot do under the modify menu -connections dialog box..
Is there anybody that when they first learned UD on the mac had trouble with their DNS connections and setting up their application server?


So to sum it all up.
How do I set up my Application Server dialog box?
How do I set up DNS?

I haven't got the mac laptop of our graphics designer. If I do I will test how dw operates on the mac and see if I can help.

THIS IS A GREAT TUTORIAL.
It helped me and I am also using a MAC.
Once you set up the connection, youwill be able to do everything.
