I think i have seen something about this before but cannot find it.
I am using an Access db and was wondering what happens if (by some miracle) multiple users happened to try and insert a record at EXACTLY the same time?
would this cause any problems and if so what could i do to prevent them?

I was setting up a database in company where a view users would be inputting into the database at the same time. Every morning they inputted cheques into the database.

It was an access database and I wanted to make sure that the autonumber worked correctly. So we did tests on the network. A few of us would click the insert button at the same time and see if any errors occurred. There was fractions of a second between each input but access was able to hold its own and insert each record.

A few tests later, we decided to continue as no problems occurred. That was a couple of years ago now and on Access 97 but I'd say you should have no problem.
