Security is always a good thing!! If you are keeping you access database within the same folder as your web folders - your database can be downloaded and opened with ease... even if password protected!

ADVICE = DON'T store credit card numbers in an access database that is in a folder in your web directory. Set up a folder off your root folder that you can access through DSN connections but not through the web.

I came across a post at www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?s=&threadid=50407 for someone looking to recover a lost access password. I knew this could be done but look how easy it is. Download the program below and run it on one of your databases. It will give you user level access passwords, admin password, etc. The demo only gives you the first 2 characters but the full version gives you the whole lot...
