I'm trying to connect to a linked table (a table where the contents are imported from a .txt file and converted into an Access format) In ultradev, when I create a recordset it doesn't recognise a linked table. How can I get around this etc.??<font face='Verdana'></font id='Verdana'><font size=2></font id=size2>

I had this problem when I was playing around with linked Excel files. I had a macro in excel pull in all my log files and automatically format them in one big table. I then linked the table to Access.

UD couldn't see the linked table so what I did was create a query on the linked table with no filters. This brought all info into access that UD could read.
