Absolute to Relative URL

Have you tried to find the current folder where the file is in, then walk trhough it's parents till you've found the site root (and collect that path in a string) and at the and distract those paths (which is a sting) from the absolute URL?

Yes i thought about it but you know it's require really hard JS coding.
In fact i think i can't do that <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle> So i'm looking for ready function in DW but there is no function like that.
