Just wondering if there are any tutorials out there regarding changing the connection to mysql from the ones generated by the phakt plugin, to something a little more standard and not requiring the dns server.

Thanks

When generating a connection for PHAkT, you enter 2 lots of information:-

Design Time connection information & Run Time Connection Information.

The Design Time connection is the only one that requires either a JDBC connection or a DSN. At run time none of that information is used and a standard connection (which doesn't require any additional components) is used.

This has been covered extensively in this forum previously. Please remember to look through older posts/search for your answer before posting your question.
