Hi Udev'rs

Just creating a mini discussion forum and I am in the process of recording (inserting) the time created of a thread. I put getdate() in the formula part of the "datecreate" column >> thread table from the database(sql2000).

On the page with all the all the threads(so far just one) it show the date created of the thread but if you click on reload of the browser the time gets changed to the current time of the server.

Question is how to insert the current time when inserted but not have it changed when pressing on reload or refresh on the browser?

ps permissions of the thread table is just insert.

I fixed it!!!!
I put the getdate() in dtcreated as the default value and not the formula part....
