I've been doing some ASP coding in UltraDev and I'm venturing into Phakt/Interakt with MySQL. Will I be able to do my development work locally with a MySQL db if I'm working from a Win2K platform? If so, will I need to install the DB server on my local machine or can I work directly from UltraDev?

The easy way to install mysql and PhP is using sourceforge.net/projects/phptriad
It will install apache and php, mysql... All the other problems you can find in this forum. Just use the search function
