I am trying to make a small intranet site which has a login page at the beginning.Instead of making a separate database for the login page, is it possible to use the NTDS.DIT on the Win2k Server as a database?

i presume you want to verify the user against the domain.
in that case if u r runing a win2000 server, then just play around with the site folder's properties. If u try to browse to the url, the server will automatically validate u against the ntds login's
