I can't get UltraDev 4 to even accept the Conditional Region code. If I try to insert it via the Server Behavior panel, nothing happens--no code appears. If I use the server behavior in a blank page, it will insert the code. I tried to cut and paste the code onto the page I want to use it. The code appears temporarily, but if I save and open the page again, the code is gone. It's really weird. This is occuring in a table with a repeating region. I'm using ASP/JavaScript. The page is at is.salkeiz.k12.or.us/SubjectAreas/Diversity/Books.asp

The text I'm trying to conditionally hide is "See the related lesson plan." I only want this text to show if a lesson plan exists. Any ideas? Thanks for your help.

This sounds stupid but are you highlighting the text before applying the server behaviour? It needs to know what not to show.

I've had that problem when using Templates. I don't understand what the issue is, but if you remove the template, I was able to bring back conditional region behaviors. Of course that opens another can of worms, but I just made a template for that specific page based on the old template.

Thanks for your replies. Davecl, don't feel bad for asking if I did something stupid like forgetting to highlight the text! In this case, I managed to not be that stupid, but I'm not always so lucky! <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>

Stmaher--Very good thought about the template, since I am using one on the page that the code wouldn't write, but didn't use one on the test page I used to make sure I had the extension installed properly. I'll try fooling around with that to see if I can make any progress. Thanks!
