Right, im sure a lot of you have used PureASP Upload in one of its many guises and im sure a lot use it to allow web users to upload images, Perhaps as part of a user profile or something. What i am wondering is, Has anyone come across a method of ensuring the pictures are of the right physical size, file size etc etc.
Or can they be manipulated at the server?
Im trying (desperatley!) to avoid any manual labour in downloading, optimizing the uploading images!
Thanks if you can help

Hello, leed:
This is not a straight answer as I've never used PureASP Upload or what I'm about to suggest, so...no guarantee!
Anyway, my hosting company offers the ASP Jpeg component (www.aspupload.com/aspjpeg.html) that does the resizing. Don't know how efficient it is or how good or bad the results are.
