Hi,i guess this would be pretty easy if my php was handcoded but as i am a total newbie, its done with phakt. Ok, i wonder if its possible to use the same HTML-form for updating existent and inserting new database records. at the moment i have two html forms for this purpose but i wonder if its possible to combine them (using phakt!)?
thanks,
till

It is not possible to combine these behaviors using PHAkT without recoding the behaviors.
Also, it is good practice to separate Insert and Update forms anyway.

Try Nextensio - the commercial product from the makers of the free Phakt. I've had MAJOR problems using it on Win2K servers, but seems to work fine on Linux servers. The "improved list" feature of Nextensio lets you do virtually everything to a recordset using only two pages. This includes sorting, filtering, editing, inserting, deleting, etc...
