Hi i know perfectly how to work in ASP, but i have 0 idea about PHP, i got the Apache Server, now my questions are:

1. With PHP i can work with a MSAccess DataBase? If not what sort of Data Base should i use?
2. Can i make DNS Less Connections in PHP? And how if so?

I'm doing a little web and i decided to use PHP to learn. So if anybody could help me please. I ask for the DNS Less connection cause the host i'm going to use is a free one that doesn't make DNS connections. Pls i'll appreciate a lot any help <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>

You can, though Access isn't really a good database for serious work (IMO). The only pre-requisites are that if you are using a Linux/Unix based server that ODBC extensions need to be installed within PHP (your webhost will be able to inform you if they are or not).

PHP doesn't use DNS's like that. I would suggest that you read other posts on this forum regarding this subject, and also checking out the connection tutorials for PHP on this site.
