Okay, I think I made an error in the code, but I'll explain what I did.Made a form. Upload a file to a directory using the excellent Pure ASP File Upload.
That worked. Now I wanted to add the code to create a unique filename (from the FAQ).
I used version 1..didn't work.
Used version 2...also didn't work.
I only want the upload to the directory with the random text attached. Should I use version 1 or 2 or something else??
P.S. Does it matter that I let the file be checked if it's an excell document or not??

I dont' get an error message.
The upload page is displayed again when i hit Save..and all fields are cleared. Nothing is uploaded to the directory.
If he uploads correctly, I should get a page with confirmation of the correct upload.
I checked my ADO version, and that's 2.5, so the right version.
Can anyone help me??
